The Grande Prairie Museum is the location where much of the city’s cultural heritage is centered. It’s located in Muskoseepi Park, and houses several permanent and temporary exhibits. Through educational programs and special events, the museum preserves the cultural heritage of Grande Prairie and the surrounding region.

The permanent exhibits include “Chasing a Dream,” a display that showcases artifacts from the pioneer days in Alberta, and “Bones and Stones,” which recreates an archaeological dig site. Temporary exhibits are housed in the Mel Rodacker/Isabell Campbell Gallery. The Grande Prairie Museum is open for visitors every day for a small entrance fee.
