Moberly Lake Provincial ParkChetwynd
Enjoy the great outdoors near Chetwynd with a trip to Moberly Lake Provincial Park. You’ll find the entrance 30 kilometers north of Chetwynd, off Highway 29. Grab a bite to eat at one of the two restaurants on the north side of Moberly Lake, or bring a picnic to enjoy near the water. There’s a boat launch available, and fishing is good for pike and northern char. Ice fishing is available in the winter.
The park is open year round, but the main season is May through October. Other amenities include a playground and horseshoe pits, hiking trails, a beach area and pit toilets. A swimming area is cordoned off, but the water is chilly even during the summer months.
