Festival of TreesGrande Prairie November 21, 2014 to November 23, 2014
The annual Festival of Trees takes place over three days and four nights every year at Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie. It’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the QEII Hospital Foundation, and will get the whole family in the holiday spirit. The Festival of Trees kicks off with a gala evening and auction at Evergreen Park on Nov 15th.
Then on Nov 21 for three days they'll be a variety of events to attend. There’s a Senior’s Day and a Family Fun Night, as well as Silver Bells Tea and Friday Night Mistletoe Magic. The Teddy Bear Breakfast is always held on a Sunday, the last day of the event.
There are tons of events throughout the day that include chorus presentations of Christmas carols, outdoor sleigh rides and more. Evergreen Park is transformed into a winter wonderland for the entire festival. Buy your tickets for the Festival of Trees early, because this event always sells out.
There is an admission fee, and the proceeds fund equipment and other needs for the QEII Hospital.
