Discover more of Dunvegan Park
Jul 31, 2012
Perhaps you have heard the term 'fresh air market' floating around lately? We Go North has come to discover that a fresh air market is becoming a more popular tourism trend that combines the beauty of outdoors with the wares of various local vendors.
This Sunday, the Historic Dunvegan Provincial Park is hosting a fresh air market showcasing local artisans throughout the Peace Region. While Dunvegan Provincial Park is a seasonal site, the fresh air market is the perfect reason to take a drive and discover some market treasures.
Once you are done loading up on honey, goodies, jewelry and more, take in a tour from one of Dunvegan’s costumed interpreters through the historic buildings. These 19th century log buildings have been restored and furnished in meticulous detail.
There is no denying that the Historic Dunvegan Provincial Park is a gem of the Peace Country, so if you haven’t been lately pop on down this Sunday, August 5th.
