We're Singing in the Peace

Apr 30, 2013

Peace Region Music Industry Conference Peace RiverPeace River will be hosting some of Canada’s finest crooners this weekend, May 3 – 4, at the Belle Petroleum Centre in Peace River for the sixth annual Peace Region Music Industry Conference Workshop & Showcase.

The conference allows for aspiring musicians to network and learn from a panel comprised of artists who have experience in the music industry. Although the conference is focused primarily on songwriting, students also gain valuable information about the music industry.

On the panel will be returning guest, Duane Steele, from nearby Hines Creek, Rock artist Earl Pereira, lead singer for indie rock group The Steadies and Chris Wynters, Executive Director of Alberta Music.

After two information-filled days at the workshop the group will perform their final song creations to the public on the Saturday evening. The public performance has been such a hit in years past, organizers had to limit seats available to ensure an intimate concert feeling.

This event is perfect for both aspiring musicians and music lovers for all genres.
