Stop and Smell the Roses at the GP Home and Garden Show
Mar 14, 2013
Taking a peek outside onto Grande Prairie’s streets today, the furthest thing that comes to mind is spring. With spring comes home renovation and gardening season. Peace Country residents will be able to get a head start on all of their upcoming home projects this weekend, March 15 – 17, at the 20th annual Home and Garden Show at Evergreen Park.
The show starts tomorrow, and will showcase over 220 booths highlighting the latest building/ renovation techniques, tools and information. The show is definitely the place to be if you’re looking to start some new home projects this year.
Promising not only some interesting products and ideas, but also an abundance of prizes from local vendors. The Home and Garden Show is a perfect event for the whole family to attend. Kids can enjoy the McDonald’s Kids Zone featuring a bouncy castle, face painting by Trinity Body Art, cookie decorating, coloring contests and information booths by different child focused non-profit groups in our area.
Stay warm in the TEC Centre this weekend and come check out this great family event.
