Bit of Holiday Cheer in Fairview

Nov 27, 2012

Santa Claus Parage Fairview The Town of Fairview will be feeling extra festive this Friday, November 30, for the Santa Claus Parade with Moonlight Madness to follow. The evening will start off with the Christmas Tree Light up followed by St. Nick in the evening parade on Main Street.

All three events are annual celebrations in the Town of Fairview and are a wonderful way for all Peace Country residents to get in the holiday spirit with the beauty of the lights at night.

After the parade downtown, Fairview will be bustling with deals and Christmas cheer. There will be photos with Santa, a free family swim and Legion Hall will be hosting a Christmas Craft Sale.

To top it all off, the Fairview Gymnastics Club will be having a fundraising carnival in the Mall on Main, with balloon animals, face painting, carnival games, a fishing well, cotton candy and popcorn as well as prizes and other edible treats; the club will also be serving hot apple cider and hot chocolate.

This event has so much to see and do, we encourage everyone to bundle up and bring the family to all of the holiday festivities.
