Come as You Are to Madison Violet

Nov 21, 2012

Madion Violet Fort St. John Musical duo Madison Violet will be at the North Peace Cultural Centre tonight, November 21, promoting their newest album, ‘The Good in Goodbye.’ Madison Violet is made up of Cape Breton’s Lisa MacIssac and Ontario’s Brenley MacEachern; more than just pretty faces, these ladies have a wealth of experience in the music industry.

An aggressive touring schedule has kept Madison Violet in the headlines. They have gained fans worldwide the old-fashioned way one song at a time, one venue at a time.

Their distinct take on iconic Americana-inspired up-tempo melodies beautifully contrasts with their breathtakingly sweeping and personal lyrics, creating songs that blend nods to female greats like the Indigo Girls, Jewel, and Lucinda Williams.

These songstresses have received mass acclaim from the BBC, the CBC, Maverick Magazine, NPR, and Penguin Eggs Magazine, as well as being the only Canadians to win The John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

If you are ready to be in the company with two of Canada’s brightest singer/songwriters head to the North Peace Cultural Centre tonight.
