Bonneville Returns to the NPCC
Oct 9, 2012
The gritty storytelling and hard bluesy sound of Canadian-born Ray Bonneville will be at the North Peace Cultural Centre once again tonight, October 9.
A Juno award winner, Bonneville has most recently been touring for his latest album ‘Bad Man’s Blood’ playing shows worldwide. He delivers an insatiable sound that keeps audiences coming back.
Ray is a unique player and has performed with such blues luminaries as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Robert Cray; he has quickly become a fixture in the Americana folk scene since moving to Texas.
It has been said that Ray evokes the ghost of John Lee Hooker with his smouldering guitar riffs and swampy blues.
Ray Bonneville will be the first performer in a special 20th anniversary ‘onstage series’ that is scheduled to be an intimate evening of epic proportions.
