Description

The Heritage Discovery Centre is located on the lower level of Centre 2000. This interactive museum is administered by the Grande Prairie Museum. It features hands-on exhibits and displays that teach visitors about the history of the Peace River region from the Ice Age to modern times. Say hello to “Piper” when you stop by, the life-sized animatronic dinosaur.

The Discovery Centre is open seven days a week. Centre 2000 is located on the Highway 43 Bypass at 106 Street in Grande Prairie. A small admission fee is required for entrance.
